Our Mission

This Society exists to promote quality care for patients and their families by encouraging professional education, development of standards, research, certification, and specialization in all phases of perianesthesia nursing and by providing a forum for exchange of ideas between health care providers involved in perianesthesia care.

VSPAN is going green.  The Vital Times will be published online on this website.  If you wish to receive a paper copy of the Vital Times, please contact the VSPAN Office at VirginiaSPAN@aol.com or at Post Office Box 334, Daleville, Virginia 24083.  We will also not print out the speaker hand-outs for conferences.  If the speakers provide handouts, they will be available on this website.
